 WARD'S REPORTS ESTIMATED PRODUCTION
 DETROIT, Feb. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- U.S. vehicle manufacturers will


build an estimated 192,097 cars and trucks this week, Ward's Automotive Reports said today.
 This week's estimated production is slightly below last week's actual build -- the largest thus far in 1992 -- of 193,627, Ward's said. This week's build also is 19.7 percent above 1991's same-week build.
 Ward's said estimated calendar 1992 year-to-date through the end of the week will stand at 1,421,839, 7.0 percent above like-1991.
 Five regularly active U.S. light-vehicle plants are down this week, compared to six last week. All five are scheduled to resume production next week, reported Ward's.
 Of the cars produced this week in the United States, General Motors Corp.'s share is 43.4 percent; Ford Motor Co., 23.4 percent; Honda of America Mfg. Inc., 9.2 percent; Chrysler Corp., 9.0 percent; Toyota Motor Mfg. USA Inc., 4.3 percent; New United Motor Mfg. Inc., 3.9 percent; Diamond-Star Motors Corp., 3.1 percent; Nissan Motor Mfg. Corp., 2.6 percent; Subaru-Isuzu Automotive Inc., 1.1 percent; and Mazda Motor Mfg. (USA) Corp., 0.0 percent.
