WALT DISNEY RECORDS AND CHILDREN'S SATELLITE NETWORK ANNOUNCE FIRST JOINT PROGRAMMING ENDEAVOR

 The `Disney Read-Along Storytime Theater on Radio AAHS'
 Debuts As Weekly Series on April 12
 BURBANK, Calif., March 16 /PRNewswire/ -- In a landmark joint programming endeavor, Walt Disney Records and Children's Satellite Network have united in the "Disney Read-Along Storytime Theater on Radio AAHS," it was announced today by Mark Jaffe, vice president of Walt Disney Records, and Bill Barnett, president of the newly launched Children's Satellite Network. This unprecedented programming effort marks the first co-production between Walt Disney Records, the world's leading producer of children's audio entertainment, and Children's Satellite Network, the first national children's radio superstation.
 Debuting on April 12, the "Disney Read-Along Storytime Theater on Radio AAHS" will premiere as a weekly series originating from Children's Satellite Network parent station Radio AAHS in Minneapolis. Featuring one read-along story per week, the "Disney Read-Along Storytime Theater on Radio AAHS" will air Tuesdays at 12:30 p.m. (CST) with a repeat broadcast the following Thursday at 7 p.m. (CST). The first month of programming includes the classic Disney read-alongs "Beauty and the Beast," "Aladdin and the Cave of Wonders," "The Little Mermaid" and "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs." Each 20-minute programming segment combines original story, songs and scoring from the Disney films.
 Since its national launch in October 1992, Children's Satellite Network has spread from Radio AAHS, WWTC 1280 AM, Minneapolis to 10 participating markets and station affiliates nationwide. Included are KPLS 830 AM, Los Angeles/Orange counties; KCTQ 850 AM, Ventura County, Calif.; WKDL 1050 AM, Washington; KKDS 1060 AM, Salt Lake City; WITH 1230 AM, Baltimore; KIDR 740 AM, Phoenix; KYYD 1340 AM, Abilene, Texas; and WKDV 1460 AM located in Manassas, Va., just outside the District of Columbia. Two additional stations in Denver and Wilkes Barre/Scranton, Pa., will join the Radio AAHS line-up shortly. Radio AAHS syndicates original programming from WWTC in Minneapolis.
 Walt Disney Records' and the Children's Music Satellite Network's broadcast of "Disney's Read-Along Storytime Theater on Radio AAHS" will receive advertising and in-store merchandising support from the Target Stores national retail chain. Each read-along story is individually available from Walt Disney Records' Storyteller Series and can be purchased at any local Target Store or wherever toys, books and audio products are sold.
