WALL STREET FINANCIAL CORP. ANNOUNCES ACQUISITION

HONOLULU, Jan. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Wall Street Financial Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: WSFC) (WSFC) today announced the acquisition of 100 percent of The Hawaii Cocoa Chocolate Co. Inc. (HCCC), the only cocoa grower in the United States, for 1,141,000 shares of WSF Corp. common stock valued at $1 per share.
Originally a joint venture between HCCC, Amfac Foods and Hershey Foods, the partnership invested a total of four years and more than $4,000,000 to build an independent growers network, nursery, fermentary, genetic bank and a producing orchard. In December it was determined that the company had successfully completed its development phase. Now fully functional, HCCC is capable of handling all phases of its cocoa operation, including manufacturing and retailing.
This "Vintage Chocolate" is produced from beans grown on the slopes of Hawaii's volcanoes in Kona and Keaau. Its unique climate and growing season has enabled HCCC to successfully develop and produce a one-of-a-kind gourmet chocolate with worldwide demand. The technology and genetics that produced this "Vintage Chocolate" has been developed over the past six years and has yielded a product which can not be duplicated.
This "Vintage Chocolate" has been received with great enthusiasm by the greatest chefs in the world and has been served (by request) to the president of the United States and the prime minister of Japan. The company estimates that demand for their chocolate will continue to exceed the supply of the product for the next several years.
The company made their first shipment in December 1992, and sales in 1993 will be restricted to top chefs of a highly selective list of exclusive hotels and restaurants. In the fall of 1993, a line of exclusive products will be introduced to the retail market. This "Vintage Chocolate" will be targeted at the gourmet and gift market in the United States and Japan. Total revenues in 1993 are forecasted to be $23,545,560 and yield pre-tax earnings of $989,492.
