WALES: Praise for legacy of Jones and museum.

Byline: By KELLY FENNA

A MUSEUM that has preserved the legacy of a major influence on the Welsh education system was yesterday praised.

Trustees of Sir Henry Jones Museum invited Alun Ffred Jones, AM Minister for Heritage, to visit the Llangernyw museum which was the childhood home of the eminent professor of moral philosophy.

Mr Jones said: "Sir Henry Jones was a man who despite his humble beginnings became an eminent academic and educationalist.

"I am impressed that the museum has worked so hard in preserving the legacy of this great man and also that volunteers at the museum are honouring the memory of a man who has contributed so much to heritage and education in Wales."
