WALES: Police hunt robbery suspect.

POLICE have issued an e-fit of a man they are trying to trace in connection with a robbery that occurred in Bangor last week.

A 19-year-old student was walking alone up Glanrafon Hill at around 10.30pm on Wednesday April 9, when she was approached from behind.

The man grabbed the woman by her throat and demanded money.

She gave him cash before she kicked him in his shin.

She then managed to run away and alerted police.

The man is described as being white, between 5ft 9 and 5ft 10 with very short hair and a receding hairline. He had a poor complexion and was unshaven. He's also described as having a large nose. He was wearing a top with a white collar and was possibly wearing jeans. He spoke with a local accent.

The student was left shocked but unhurt by the incident.
