WAL-MART SIGNS CONTRACT WITH NATIONAL DATA CORPORATION FOR PHARMACY PROCESSING SERVICES

 ATLANTA, Dec. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- National Data Corporation (NYSE: NDC) announced today an agreement with Wal-Mart (NYSE: WMT; PSE), one of the nation's leading retailers, to provide real-time pharmacy claims processing services.
 NDC will accept electronic pharmacy claims and send them to the appropriate payor, returning the payor's real-time response to Wal-Mart's pharmacy operations.
 Wal-Mart, based in Bentonville, Ark., is a nationwide provider of pharmacy services.
 "We are pleased that such a major provider of pharmacy services has selected NDC to support its pharmacy claims processing business," said Richard Cohan, senior vice president of Healthcare Business Development at National Data.
