 WAINOCO ANNOUNCES RESTART OF CHEYENNE REFINERY
 HOUSTON, June 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Wainoco Oil Corporation (NYSE: WOL)


announced today that Frontier Refining's assessment of the damage resulting from the fire at its Cheyenne refinery on Monday, June 8, 1992 has been completed. The inspections confirmed that the plant experienced only minor
damage. Such damage was confined to four small intermediate product storage tanks and one water cooling tower. No process units were affected and no other major damage was sustained. As the result, those units that were shut down for safety reasons during the fire are now being brought back on line. The crude unit will be restarted today at an initial charge rate of 25,000 BPD and start-up of other downstream units will follow. It is anticipated that all units will be operating and the plant running at normal rates by Sunday, June 14, 1992.
