One month after its Sept. 21 debut, "Eyewitness News at Noon" posts a 3.6 rating/14 share in Nielsen and a 3.2 rating/13 share in Arbitron, proving to be an increasingly strong competitor to WCBS-TV's six-year- old "Channel 2 News at Noon" (5.1 rating/20 share Nielsen and 5.5 rating/22 share Arbitron).
