W. JOHN CASH NAMED DIRECTOR OF KASLER CORP. SAN BERNARDINO, Calif., Dec. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Kasler Corp.
(NYSE: KAS) a leader in the highway/heavy construction industry, today announced that W. John Cash, vice president and chief financial officer and treasurer, has been elected a new member of the board of directors. He fills the vacancy created when R. Barr Brown resigned in June 1991.
Cash became vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer in July after serving as assistant chief financial officer upon joining the company in May of this year. Prior to this, he was for more than 17 years employed by KPMG Peat Marwick, certified public accountants, and was a partner at the time of this departure. A certified public accountant, Cash received his bachelor of science in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting from California State University, Los Angeles in 1974. Commenting on Cash's appointment, E.R. Ferguson, president and chief executive officer, said, "Cash's expanding responsibilities within the company are clear testimony to his singular managerial ability as well as his demonstrated financial expertise."
