W. DALE MCKEEHAN ELECTED FORD VICE PRESIDENT

 DEARBORN, Mich., Sept. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- W. Dale McKeehan has been elected a vice president of Ford Motor Company (NYSE: F) effective Oct. 1, 1993, Chairman Harold A. Poling announced today.
 Mr. McKeehan will succeed Henry A. Nickol as vice president and general manager - Vehicle Operations, North American Automotive Operations. Mr. Nickol is retiring after 40 years with the company.
 Mr. McKeehan has been general manager of Ford's Body and Assembly Operations (B&AO) since 1990. He joined Ford in 1962 as a trainee foreman at the company's former Dallas Assembly Plant following graduation from Texas Technological College (now Texas Tech University) with a master's of business administration degree in industrial management.
 In 1970, he moved to the Atlanta Assembly Plant as quality control manager.
 Two years later, he was named assistant manager of the Wayne (Mich.) Assembly Plant and manager of the Chicago Assembly Plant a year after that. He returned to Wayne as plant manager in 1974.
 In 1986, Mr. McKeehan was named B&AO Assembly Operations manager. Three years later, he was appointed assistant general manager, Stamping and Assembly Operations, B&AO.
