Vulnerable thrown a lifeline.
ScottishPower has donated over pounds 1m to the independent Trust to date, and grants totalling almost a quarter of a million pounds have already been awarded to not-forprofit organisations and groups that primarily assist young families and other vulnerable people who are struggling to pay their energy bills.
The five projects that have received funding so far range from ones providing vulnerable young people with help to sustain their own tenancy and gain employment, to crisis services which offer emergency power cards as well as funding starter packs for homeless and needy individuals.
Organisations interested in applying for a grant from The Scottish Power Energy People Trust should log on to www.scottishpower.co.uk/energypeople trust, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone Scottish- Power on 0141 568 2000 and ask for The ScottishPower Energy People Trust.
