St Charles' Catholic Primary School pupils on World War One and visiting Ypres, in Belgium GEORGE HERATY, 11, ERATY, 11, ERATY said: "It was sad seeing the graves of all the soldiers who died. Today we did a presentation about what we saw in Ypres."

CONLETH PRICE, eight, said: "We told everyone about what it was like to go to Belgium. It was really sad to see how many people died."

LEONA NACHI, 10, said: "When we went around the cemeteries it felt sad because you saw how many soldiers gave their lives."

ANNA JONES, nine, said: "It was all mixed feelings. It was really interesting and we learned a lot but it was sad to see the graves in Ypres."
