Volunteer driver ready to roll.

I have been very anxious to thank the DAV for an exceedingly warm welcome to me and my traveling companion, George Stanhope, upon our arrival at the DAV National Headquarters. We consider it rewarding and a privilege to drive our fellow veterans from Waycross, Ga., to Lake City and Gainesville, Fla., for their medical needs. However, it really never sunk in that what we do was so dependent on the services provided by the DAV. Visiting your facility has given us insight to the vastness of your mission, instilling in us a gratitude words fail to express. I am now more determined to inform all I encounter about the importance of supporting your unique special services across our great land. Thank you and your co-workers again, and personally I would consider it a privilege in providing transportation anywhere a vehicle may be needed, if so given the opportunity. Lastly, a shout out to all volunteer DAV drivers everywhere, "LET'S ROLL!" Charles Minnis, Blackshear, GA
