Volunteer call for carnival.

VOLUNTEERS are needed to help out at the annual Bulkington carnival, which takes place on Sunday.

e procession sets o from Barnacle Lane at 1pm, following the judging of oats and fancy dress walkers and arena events take place on the recreation eld all afternoon.

As well as a host of stalls plus refreshments and a fairground, there will also be music by Bulkington Silver Band a display by Kuk Sul Won Korean Martial Arts, a naval cadets gun run and a dog show.

All money raised goes to support good causes within the village.

Committee chairman Louise Tizick said: "We would appreciate help on the day for the road closures and marshals for the parade.
