Volume of IT sector in Jordan stands at $1billion.

The volume of the information technology sector in Jordan in 2008 stood at $1 billion, according to results of a study conducted by the Information Technology Association of Jordan - Int@j.

Executive President of Intaj Abdul Majid Shamlawi said in a statement to Jordan News Agency, Petra that results of the study which covered 375 local companies were presented to the Ministry of Information and Communications Technology to a final review to be issues soon.
