Voith to rebuild PM for Neusiedler SCP.

Voith Paper, Heidenheim, Germany, received an order in mid-September from Neusiedler SCP, Ruzomberok, Slovakia for the rebuild of PM 18. The machine, originally supplied by Voith Paper in the late 1980s, supplies 80 g/[m.sup.2] standard copy paper at 860 m/min. A SingleNipcoFlex shoe press will be used with zone-controlled steam blow box and Enviroscan for moisture measurement. After the rebuild, the paper machine will produce copy papers at 1400 m/min and production will reach 290,000 metric tons/year.
