Voice of the sunday People: In loving memory.

SPARE a thought and a prayer today for the parents of murdered schoolgirls Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman.

It is a year ago tomorrow since we held our breath as the two girls disappeared, only to weep buckets when their bodies turned up.

We have moved on since then, coping with our own ups and downs, getting on with our lives. But for the families of Holly and Jessica, their friends, and the people of Soham, tomorrow's anniversary will add another stab of searing pain to their almost unbearable 12 months of agony.

So it may be some small consolation if this morning we pause to remember.

And to hold in our hearts all those touched by this most terrible of tragedies.
