Enterprise software provider Software Diversified Services (SDS) has launched its Vital Signs VisionNet IP Monitor software for monitoring TCP/IP networks on z/OS or OS/390 mainframe systems.

Network managers using the new product can obtain browser-based, real-time information on the status of the network that includes event, status, utilisation and traffic data. A spokesperson for the company said that Vital Signs VisionNet IP Monitor is easy to use and features simplified navigation so that users need not be TCP/IP professionals.

Pricing details were not announced.
