Visitors routed by Pesda; NORTH WALES CUP R1 Bethesda 39 Llandudno 0.

LLANDUDNO crashed out of the North Wales Cup at Bethesda, conceding six tries, three conversions and a penalty.

Tudno travelled away with a disjointed team, with numerous first-team players not available for various reasons.

The home side fielded a strong first team, and from the start took the game to Llandudno, racking up a first-half score of 24 points.

Llandudno rallied in the second half and threatened the home side's try line on a number of occasions, but failed to touchdown.

Bethesda gradually took over control and completed this first-round cup win with a further two tries, one conversion and a penalty.

Llandudno now have a long break from league matches over the festive season, until January 5 when they travel away to Llangollen.
