Virginia estate sells for $4M.

Sotheby's International Realty and Armfield, Miller and Associates, Inc. Real Estate of Middleburg, Virginia, are pleased to announce the sale of Waterford, one of Middleburg's finest equestrian estates.

At $4 million, this sale represents the highest price achieved for a residential property in the Hunt Country area in the past three years.

Formerly the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Haggin Perry, well-known owners and breeders of thoroughbred horses, the farm was purchased by a Washington-based businessman. Ruth Miller, the selling broker, of Armfield, Miller and Associates, Sotheby's exclusive affiliate for the greater Middleburg area. Gloria Armfield, also a broker with Armfield, Miller and Associates, was the list or of this important property.

Situated on famed Zulla Road, Waterford encompasses over 144 acres in the heart of the prestigious Orange County Hunt. This working equestrian farm is centered around a gracious, 10,000 square-feet.
