Virgin Media to show Liam Miller match.

THE Liam Miller tribute match will be broadcast live on Virgin Media Sport TV, it was announced yesterday.

Manchester United Legends and Republic of Ireland and Celtic Legends will battle it out in memory of the footballer who died of cancer in February.

All proceeds from the the match on September 25, including advertising and sponsorship revenues, will go to the Liam Miller Fund, to help his wife Clare and their three children.

Head of sport at Virgin Media Television Kieran Holden said: "The match is a fitting tribute to Liam's memory and for his family and friends.

"We're looking forward to bringing this big event to a national audience."
