Virgin Atlantic Airways Offers Bonus Commissions to Travel Agents.
Virgin Atlantic Airways today announced that, with immediate effect, travel agents will be eligible to earn bonus commissions for bookings ticketed between now and September 30th, 1999.
For bookings made in Virgin's Upper Class or Premium Economy, a 2% bonus on top of the standard uncapped 5% base commission, will increase the total commission to 7%. For bookings in Economy, the 2% bonus will bring the total commission to 12%.
"These bonuses offer a 40% increase in commission for Upper Class and Premium Economy; and a 20% increase for Economy," said Bill King, Senior Vice President for Virgin Atlantic Airways. "This follows our recent increase in Economy base commission to 10%, with absolutely no caps, and clearly demonstrates Virgin's support of travel agents."
The carrier encourages agents to contact their local Sales Office at 1-800-VIRGIN-1 for more information on other opportunities for increasing commission earned.
