The international break is nearing its end and there's light at the end of the tunnel for Liverpool fans desperate for the return of the Premier League.
Reds fans can be forgiven for turning their attentions to other things over the weekend as the dark side of the international break moon well and truly hit.
But if you weren't looking, you may have missed some big headlines over the weekend.
Here are several of the weekend's biggest LFC stories:
Liverpoolfans woke Sunday morning to reports that the Reds were set to offerVirgil van Dijka bumper new contract.
It was claimed that Manchester United's signing of Harry Maguire, coupled with the England defender's [pounds sterling]200,000 per week salary, had caused Van Dijk to agitate for a new deal, but the Dutchman was left bemused by the reports.
He's happy on Merseyside having signed a five-year deal when he arrived from Southampton last year.

Philippe Coutinho's name cannot stay out of the headlines, and the former Liverpool midfielder was back there on Sunday.
Jurgen Klopphad spoken to the Brazilian ahead of his move to Bayern Munich.
The quotes from Klopp were actually around a month old, but that didn't stop fans talking about them again.

It's been a good weekend forGini Wijnaldum.
The Liverpool midfielder was outstanding for the Netherlands on Friday night, scoring and setting up one in a 4-2 victory over Germany.
But it was what he had to say afterwards that caught Liverpool fans' attention, speaking candidly on his "hate and love" relationship with Jurgen Klopp.
