Vinnie saves 28.

THE Vinnie Jones- fronted campaign from the British Heart Foundation has been a big success so far, with 28 lives confirmed saved so far.

Earlier this year the BHF became the first organisation in the UK to tell anyone untrained in CPR to ignore the kiss of life in favour of hard and fast chest compressions.

At the moment, less than 10% of the 30,000 people in the UK who have a cardiac arrest out of hospital each year survive long enough to leave hospital alive. If someone carries out early CPR, it may double a casualty's chances of survival. Hands-only CPR should increase the number of bystander interventions and save lives.
