Viking InterWorks introduces Viego suite for USB flash drive users.
Viego, a security and mobile software suite, has been introduced by Viking InterWorks Inc, a designer and manufacturer of memory and communications modules and a Sanmina-SCI company (Nasdaq:SANM).
The Viego suite, provided as a customised solution by Rocket Software, is intended to complement the flash-based USB product range from Viking InterWorks. Viego provides a productivity tool enabling users to carry files and programs and work between various locations.
The company said it offers the mobility and security on a USB flash drive required to prevent unauthorised users from accessing files, through applications supporting workstation security, data protection and password management.
The Viego USB flash drive from Viking InterWorks is preloaded with a ViegoPad launch pad which enables applications to be opened on Microsoft Windows XP 2000. The pad provides a portable working space for USB flash drive users to port applications and keeps passwords, personal files, settings and data more secure and portable.
