At the Conference, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuyen - Deputy Director of Information Technology Department, Ministry of Information and Communications emphasized that information technology human resources play an important role in promoting and developing information technology. believe, create opportunities for Vietnam to participate in the fourth industrial revolution. In order to access the industrial revolution 4.0, IT human resources need to equip the knowledge skills needed to match the domestic and international market demands.
The delegates exchanged and made some recommendations and proposals to orient the development and application of information technology in association with the requirements of each unit and enterprise in the coming time.
In order to implement the 4.0 industrial revolution, the banking sector actively implemented the Prime Minister's Directive 16 / CT-TTg on strengthening the capacity to access the 4th industrial revolution, in which, focus on completing the legal framework to support payment activities, payment systems, ensuring safety and security in banking operations; increase investment in upgrading the national information technology infrastructure and inter-bank payment system; strengthen communication and scientific research on technology application of industrial revolution 4.0 achievement in Banking industry.
Recently , the Governor of the SBV has set up a Steering Committee for Fintech, in which the SBV Payment Department is assigned to act as a standing body, assisting the Steering Committee. The Steering Committee has the following tasks: Submit to the Governor of the State Bank for approval of annual programs and activities; advise the Governor on solutions to improve the ecosystem, including completing the legal framework to facilitate the development of Fintech enterprises in Vietnam in accordance with the guidelines and orientations of the Government. coating; submit to the Governor to decide on important issues related to Fintech such as Fintech strategy / development plan in Vietnam.
