VideoLogic Systems, a division of UK-based Imagination Technologies, has unveiled its first performance graphics add-in card based on ST Microelectronics' KYRO PowerVR Series3 graphics processor.
Targeted at gamers the VideoLogic Vivid! graphics card can implement both 2x and 4x full scene anti-aliasing for improved visual quality. Other features include 32-bit internal true colour resolution, support for 8-layer multitexturing, DXTC texture compression and Direct3D compliant environment mapped bump mapping.
Vivid! is expected to ship to distributors and original equipment manufacturers in October, priced below GBP99+VAT.
