Video dev kit for new TI digital media processor.

The network video developers kit (NVDK), developed by ATEME for the TMS320C6000[TM] digital signal processor (DSP) platform, is now available for designs employing TI's most recent advancement for streaming media development -- the fully programmable, 600 MHz TMS320DM642 digital media processor. Since the DM642 is fully object code compatible with TI's C64x family of DSPs, development can start immediately. The kit is available standalone for $4,495 or bundled with TI's Code Composer Studio and an XDS510PP Plus emulator for $5,995. The DM642 will be offered at both 500 MHz and 600 MHz clock speeds and is scheduled for sampling in late 1Q03. Pricing starts at $4,495 for DM642-500 Mhz, 10k units. Texas Instruments Inc., 13532 N.
