Video: The building of Legoland Dubai u Episode 2.
In the following video, the people behind Legoland Dubai explain how they went about recreating the city's iconic skyline in Lego form.
Legoland Dubai's Miniland features a miniature mock-up of Dubai's Sheikh Zayed Road, replete with landmarks such as Dubai World Trade Centre, Emirates Towers, and Burj Khalifa.
The team's take on Burj Khalifa took more than 5,000 hours to construct, and is made from 439,000 Lego bricks.
Siegfried Boerst, general manager of Legoland Dubai , said: "Dubai is very well known for its iconic skyline; it's very unique in the world.
"We tried to replicate that in [Legoland Dubai's] Miniland by building Sheikh Zayed Road, featuring some of the most iconic buildings and building them out of Lego bricks."
Legoland Dubai is the first Legoland theme park in the world to feature an indoor Miniland dome.
The structure houses 14 different clusters, which feature Lego replicas of iconic buildings from across the Middle East.
Each model was built at workshops owned by Legoland's parent company, Merlin Entertainments, and shipped to the UAE via air freight.
The following video, which outlines the recreation of Dubai's skyline in Lego form, is the second of five films that ConstructionWeekOnline will publish this week.
