VidSys and North American Video Partner to Deliver True Situational Awareness to Gaming Market.

Partnership Teams Cutting-Edge Operations Center Software Vendor with Award Winning Security Systems Integrator

ALEXANDRIA, Va. & MARLBOROUGH, Mass. -- VidSys, the leading operations center software company for security, safety, military, gaming and transportation organizations, today announced a partnership with North American Video, Inc. (NAV), a leading security systems integrator and a premier provider to the gaming industry. As part of the agreement, NAV will join the VidSys Interoperability Partner (VIP) program, which enables customers to select products from any vendor within the program, and seamlessly integrate all of the technologies with the VidSys VidShield[TM] operations center management software platform.

VidSys and NAV are collaborating to meet the evolving security and surveillance demands facing the gaming industry as regulations and standards become more stringent, in an effort to better protect the casino, its patrons and personnel. As the industry's security personnel adopt new technologies such as biometrics and state of the art digital video equipment to respond to their changing needs, the organizations need the ability to integrate all of these technologies for improved surveillance. VidSys and NAV are working together to provide a solution to this challenge, enabling customers to create a fully-integrated physical and IT security environment that offers true collaborative, real-time situational awareness across any gaming organization.

"Increasingly our customers are looking to us to incorporate new technologies with their legacy security systems to strengthen their overall security posture while protecting their existing technology investments," said Cynthia Freschi, President of NAV. "The open architecture of the VidShield management platform offered by VidSys enables us to quickly deliver a robust security solution that provides the situational awareness that our gaming customers need to effectively manage such a complex environment."

The partnership will allow NAV to enhance its current security offerings and provide a new level of integrated situational awareness for its customers through VidSys' flagship product, VidShield. The leading operations center management platform, VidShield enables organizations to deploy an entire network of physical and virtual security and surveillance technologies and integrate them into a single seamless solution. VidSys and NAV are in discussions with a number of joint customers in the gaming industry.

"We are dedicated to creating technology that enables the gaming industry to manage and effectively utilize the flood of security data from various physical security and video surveillance technologies filtering in from casinos to make effective security decisions," said Chuck Teubner, Chairman and CEO of VidSys. "Partnering with NAV enables VidSys to expand our business opportunities by providing the gaming industry with a practical physical security information management solution. With this solution, casinos can focus their resources on managing real security events rather than on the compatibility of their technologies."
