Victorian baths get fresh look.

STAFF at Batley Baths are hoping its new look will make a splash with customers.

The Victorian baths will reopen this week with bright new paintwork and new signs.

It has been closed this month for redecoration and refurbishment.

The pool, hall, changing rooms, reception and toilets have been repainted.

Operations manager Lyndsey Kaye said: "We are very pleased with the new look, it feels like a new centre."

The pool is being refilled this week in anticipation of its reopening on Thursday.

To celebrate youngsters can enjoy free swimming and try out a new inflatable at 1pm during the opening day on September 17.

In the morning there will be free classes on offer, including boxercise and fitball followed by free personal training taster sessions.
