Victor B. Hester, Jr.

Victor B. Hester, Jr., a past member of the Houston Paint Society, died in June 2004 at the age of 73.

A 1979 graduate of Ottawa University, Ottawa, KS, Mr. Hester served as Lieutenant Colonel for nearly 25 years in the Civil Air Patrol. He was a 42-year veteran of Chemcentral Corp., where he retired as the southwestern regional vice president and a member of its board of directors.

In addition he was a member of the Founders Club of the National Petroleum Refiners Association, past president of the Houston Paint and Coatings Association, and was an honorary member of the Houston Chemical Association.

He is survived by his wife, Lynn Hester; daughters, Venus and Vickie; three grandchildren, and two sisters.
