Victim of factory tragedy is named.
A POST-MORTEM examination was taking place today to establish how a 51-year-old Coventry man died while working at a Warwickshire factory.Police have named the victim as Peter Hudson.
Mr Hudson was an engineer carrying out maintenance work on shelf-stacking equipment at RS Components, on Nuneaton's Bermuda Business Park, when he was involved in an industrial accident on Sunday morning.
Warwickshire Coroner, Michael Coker was due to open and adjourn an inquest later today.
In a statement, his family said: "Peter leaves a wife Christine, two married sons and four grandsons. Peter and Christine lived in the Walsgrave area of Coventry for 31 years. Peter was a well-respected and liked man and will be sadly missed by family and friends alike."
The tragedy is being investigated by police and by the county council's environmental health department, with support from the Health and Safety Executive.
