Viant Appoints Media and Entertainment Industry Veteran Jerry Brandt to Industry Leadership Development Role.

BOSTON -- Viant Corp., , a provider of digital business solutions, today announced that Jerrold (Jerry) Brandt has joined the company to further strengthen the company's industry- leading media and entertainment practice.

A veteran of the industry, he will be responsible for establishing and developing relationships between Viant and publishing, music, entertainment, broadcast and sports companies, primarily on the West Coast.

Brandt joins Viant from a prior position at KPMG, where he served as national executive director of the Digital Media Business Incubator, providing strategic advisory services for the initiation, development, and refinement of digital business ventures. A third-generation member of a family with roots in media and entertainment, he has held positions as a marketing executive and consultant, producer, publisher, studio postproduction and production executive, and operations executive.

His professional affiliations include membership in the Directors Guild of America (DGA), American Cinema Editors (ACE), Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE), Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), the American Marketing Society and the Technology Council of Motion Pictures and Television Industry (TCMPT).
