Vets are gearing up.

PRIOR to the start of the Yorkshire Veterans Inter-District League, Hudders-field are holding a friendly match at Lindley Liberal Club on Friday April 25 (1.30).

The Vets first league match is against Leeds on May 2, and they will be hoping to mount a strong challenge for the title this season after being top dogs for a long number of successive years in the past decade.

Huddersfield officials (home and away managers and captains) will be selecting their squads, 10 to play home and 10 away from this list of those invited.

Players will be contacted as normal by phone or email.

Dress Code applies for |the finals of the West Riding and Pilling Cups (7pm on April 25).

Crossgates A play Eccleshill in the West Riding showpiece at Cleckheaton Sports top green, while the back green will host the Pilling final between Pudsey A and Pudsey Littlemoor at the same time.
