Verdict for Brian.

ITALY 22 IRELAND 15 BRIAN O'DRISCOLL will learn today whether he will face disciplinary action for his stamp on Simone Favaro in the defeat by Italy.

Citing commissioner Aurwel Morgan will decide if the offence, which saw O'Driscoll sent to the sin-bin on the half-hour mark, warrants further action.

It is likely to be the iconic centre's last game and coach Declan Kidney said: "Brian has had a strong Six Nations. He's earned the time to make up his own mind on his future."

The Italians led 9-6 at the break and extended their lead through Gio Venditti's converted try.

Paddy Jackson landed three penalties but Luciano Orquera's brace of penalties gave Italy two wins in the Championship.
