Veolia division buys Yellow Cab of Colorado Springs.


6 January 2012 - Veolia Transportation On Demand, a division of US passenger transport services provider Veolia Transportation Inc, said it had bought RDSM Transportation LLC, the company doing business as Yellow Cab of Colorado Springs.

The statement contained no information with respect to price.

As part of the deal, Veolia is getting about 30 employees and 185 independent contractor taxi drivers. The current general manager of the business will also remain in place.

Veolia Transportation operates a paratransit and bus service in Colorado and the Yellow Cab acquisition is seen as a move of strategic importance for Veolia Transportation On Demand.
