Ventillo opens 1st US store at One Fawcett Place in CT.

Ventilo, U. S. A., Ltd., wholesalers of classic women's apparel created by noted French designer Armand Ventilo, has opened its first American store at One Fawcett Place in Greenwich, Connecticut.

The company leased more than 1,500 square feet of ground floor space at the office/retail building recently completed by Conroy Company Development in the downtown Greenwich business district.

Ventilo fashions are presently carried in more than 200 stores in Europe and Asia, including nearly a dozen of its own boutiques in France and Japan. Until now, it's only U. S. outlets have been Barneys, Saks Fifth Avenue and the Galeries Lafayette in Trump Palace in New York.

With the newest lease, only one 4,200 foot corner store space remains.

In addition to Sports Exclusive, a high-end sporting goods retailer already in operation, Conroy said that he expects to announce plan soon for a major health club in the building in addition to a number of other office leases now in various stages of negotiation.

The developer is also planning to start construction this summer on temporary outdoor and garage parking facilities on a vacant site directly across from the building. A total of

145 spaces ill be provided.

One Fawcett Place is located at the intersection of Fawcett Place and Greenwich Avenue.
