Vent your spleen.

In answer to PS from Fenham about the number of withheld numbers, you can do something about it - I have. If he gets on to BT it will put a stop on any withheld number calling his telephone. A message will ask the caller to redial and give their number.

I recently went round to the People's Centre in Wallsend to renew my bus pass, only to be told that I could only go to the Central Station or North Shields with proof of identity. I went down to North Shields and when I got there they said, `Have you got proof of identity?' and I said, `I have got my passport' and they said it was no good because it needs to be a bill. I am 65 and I have been around this world a couple of times and I have never ever been refused anywhere with a British passport. I think it is utterly ridiculous.
