Variable speed drives.

The Altivar 212 variable speed drive and the S-Flex enclosed model provide suppliers and control panel builders with energy efficiency in pump and fan applications. By adjusting motor speed to the required flow of air or fluids, the AC drives reduce energy costs by 50%. Additional cost savings come from electronic motor controls that reduce the mechanical stress on belts, piping and ductwork, while eliminating valve or inlet guide vane maintenance. The compact drives save panel space and accommodate multiple integrated building automation networks. Features include embedded reduced harmonic technology to minimize wire size and the size of upstream overcurrent protection devices, a local/remote button for quick start up, and embedded communications.
