Valley Rubber Mixing.
Valley Rubber Mixing consolidated its operations and that of its affiliated companies -- Berresford Enterprises, Glo-Mold, Teck-Kote and Valley-Roco Mixing -- into a former BFGoodrich rubber manufacturing plant in Akron, OH. The move represents an expansion of product line including pelletized, polymer-encapsulated, rubber chemical dispersions, dustless powders, custom dry blends and DLCs, all marketed under the trade name Val-Mix. In addition to equipment relocated to the site, the company purchased and installed an 84" mill, bringing mill mixing capacity to 3 million pounds per year. The company's custom calendering capacity is 5 million pounds per year. Valley Rubber, which also makes unfinished rubber and rubber components, will occupy some 22,000 sq. ft. of space at the complex.
