Valent BioSciences, Libertyville, Ill., licenses proprietary plant growth regulator (PGR) technology from LOMON Bio Technology Co., Sichuan, China. The agreement gives Valent exclusive development and marketing rights worldwide except for China and Taiwan. The agreement involves abscisic acid (ABA), which regulates numerous key processes in plants, including responses to stress conditions, dormancy, maturation and growth.
