Valencia Bank & Trust to Be Traded on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange.

SANTA CLARITA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 12, 2000

Valencia Bank & Trust today announced that its common stock will commence trading on Nasdaq's SmallCap Market under the symbol "VABT" commencing Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2000.

The company's stock previously traded on the OTC Bulletin Board under the symbol "VABT."

John M. Reardon, president and chief executive officer of Valencia Bank & Trust, stated: "We are very pleased to have our securities approved by Nasdaq for trading on this exchange. We believe that this will enhance the visibility of the company and provide us with additional market opportunities. Our market makers have reaffirmed their desire to continue to market the stock."
