Vale professor Bruce Gordon Waldrip 1949-2017.

Professor Bruce Gordon Waldrip was a very well-known and highly respected educator who made a significant contribution to science education, Australia-wide, over many years. His contribution to science and science teaching were enormous and the news of his passing fills us with great sadness.

ASTA would like to acknowledge his exceptional leadership at both the state and national levels. Bruce was a modest and inspirational intellectual, who was also known for his generosity and good humour. He made a great impact on research and pedagogy. He will be much missed.

We extend our condolences to his wife Karin, daughter Lynelle, and son Andrew.

Vale Bruce.
