Volkswagen AG (VW) (Xetra: VW), a Germany-based automaker, is developing plug-in Jetta, hybrid Passat and Golf models by 2013.

The automaker plans to launch a hybrid version of the Jetta by 2012 and Up blue-e-motion in 2013.

The company had announced in June 2008 that it planned to launch three hybrid and one electric vehicle in the United States by 2010.
