VP Urges Expansion of Iran-Algeria Ties.

Summary: TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian First Vice President Mohammad Reza Rahimi on Monday called for the expansion of relations between Iran and Algeria.

"Tehran-Algiers ties and cooperation should be increasingly expanded and boosted on the verge of global developments," Rahimi said in a farewell meeting with the Algerian ambassador to Tehran.Reminding the two sides' ample capacities for bolstering bilateral relations, Rahimi stated, "The Islamic Republic of Iran has no restriction for increasing its cooperation at the different bilateral, regional and international levels with all Islamic states, Algeria in particular.""All the existing capacities should be utilized for the expansion of Iran-Algeria relations in different fields, specially trade, economy and industry," Rahimi went on saying.He further voiced Iran's preparedness to transfer its experiences and achievements to the other Muslim states.During the meeting, the Algerian ambassador felicitated Rahimi's appointment as the Islamic Republic's first vice president, and stressed that the high commission for the two countries' ties headed by Iran's first vice president and Algeria's Prime Minister will pave the way for the maximum expansion and boosting of Tehran-Algiers relations in all the various areas.
