 VOPLEX REDUCES COSTS
 TROY, Mich., Dec. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- In an effort to reduce costs


and return to profitability in the near term, VOPLEX Corporation (AMEX: VOT) today announced the following actions effective Jan. 1, 1992:
 -- Salaried work force reduction of approximately 20 percent.
 -- Wage cuts of 10 percent for all non-bargaining unit employees.
 -- Employee sharing of medical coverage costs.
 -- Scrutiny of overtime at all facilities.
 Joseph W. Bauer, president and chief executive officer, stated that the continued recessionary climate, the prolonged automotive downturn and VOPLEX's requirement of developing a successful Chapter 11 reorganization plan necessitated the moves.
 VOPLEX is a Troy-based supplier to the automotive industry that designs, engineers and manufactures interior trim components, modules and systems for the automotive industry as well as supplying blow molded products to the packaging industry.
