VOLKSWAGEN ANNOUNCES SPECIAL LEASE OFFER ON ITS NEW EUROVAN

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., March 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Volkswagen United States announced it will offer a Special Value Lease on its all-new, front-wheel-drive EuroVan, with monthly payments as low as $299 a month (48-month terms) on a well-equipped GL model, depending on the down payment structure.
Standard equipment on the EuroVan GL with the Special Value Lease includes dual front-and-rear air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, power windows and mirrors, central locking, cruise control, AM/FM stereo cassette, and more.
The EuroVan is an all-new mid-sized van introduced last fall by Volkswagen to replace its Vanagon model. With 195 cubic feet of interior room, the 1993 EuroVan GL offers 35 percent more room than the average minivan but is shorter than some station wagons.
Volkswagen is also extending its Special Value Lease through September on the new high-performance V-6 Passat GLX sedan and wagon, which offers payments as low as $289 a month (48-month terms), depending on down payment structure. The mid-sized Passat GLX is the fastest sedan ever offered by the German auto maker, and comes standard with a long list of items, including ABS, traction control, air conditioning, power windows and mirrors, central locking, trip computer, alloy wheels, power glass sunroof and much more.
The Special Value Lease offer on the EuroVan ends June 30, 1993.
