Norwegian embedded systems supplier VMETRO ASA said on Friday (28 September) that its German subsidiary VSYSTEMS Electronic GmbH has secured an order for data recorder systems from EADS Deutschland GmbH.
The order, valued at over EUR2m, covers integrated real-time solid state data recorder systems based on VMETRO's product family. The systems will be used in the German Euro Hawk programme to develop a high-altitude long-endurance unmanned air vehicle system based on Northrop Grumman's Global Hawk.
VMETRO, headquartered in Oslo in Norway, develops and manufactures products and services for embedded computer systems integrators.
