VLT GETS COLORADO APPROVAL ON GAMING LICENSE

BOZEMAN, Mont., July 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Video Lottery Technologies, Inc. (VLT) will be able to operate in the Colorado casino business effective immediately. The Colorado Division of Gaming approved the Bozeman-based company's application to manufacture, distribute, and service equipment to state-licensed casinos.
The license approval followed an exhaustive investigation of every aspect of VLT's operations in the United States and throughout the world. The backgrounds of company principals were also closely scrutinized.
"The State of Colorado is known for the scope and thoroughness of its license application process," said James Davey, VLT chief executive officer. "We welcomed the opportunity to open our books to Colorado officials and are pleased that our company met some of the highest security standards in the industry. We are looking forward to pursuing an exciting new market."
Noting that the Colorado casino industry is relatively new, Davey expressed confidence that VLT's proven technology and success in on-line and video products will translate to a successful entry into the casino market.
